News for 25 September 2003: Severe VB Runtime Problems

• A few users were reporting that Easy SFV Creator and Easy MD5 Creator were crashing when certain buttons were clicked with-in the application. I recently pin pointed the route of the problem:
  
  For some reason, certain language (regional settings), especially non-english cause certain Visual Basic applications and controls to completely freeze. This isn't a problem with the Easy SFV Creator or Easy MD5 Creator source code (hence I cannot correct the problem).

• Special thanks to my good friend Presmike for letting me use his web space. The Brad Smith Site should be stable again.

• www.therudeone.com is no longer hosting the Brad Smith Site. I'd like to thank L.I.T.E. for providing free web space for all this time. Thanks to QQUARY for temporarily hosting my web site while the new .COM is registered.

• Sorry for lack of updates, I've been extremely busy working and studying lately.

News for 4 February 2003: .COM Registration

• There should be a new permanent location to the Brad Smith Site. The new .com will be coming as soon as possible!

News for 1 December 2002: Easy SFV Creator 2.7.0 and Easy MD5 Creator 1.4.0

• New default button style "clean".

• Easy MD5 Creator now includes the following:

  • Supports the GPG MD5 checksum format.

  • All progress steps now use icons to represent the different file states (corrupt, locked, missing, perfect or all perfect).

  • Included an Action button to the Open action Progress step.
    
    The Action button can perform the following tasks:

    • Quickly minimize Easy MD5 Creator to the system tray.

    • Move some or all perfect files to another location (safe to use with tree .MD5 files).

    • Move some or all corrupt files to another location (safe to use with tree .MD5 files).

    • Delete some or all corrupt files.

    • Save a report of corrupt, locked, missing and perfect files.

Welcome: Welcome to the Brad Smith Site. This site hosts Easy SFV Creator and in time Disc Catalogue Creator .NET. I decided to host a few other applications that I've developed. They are not as powerful and complex as Easy SFV Creator, but I'm sure some of you will find them useful.
